In wine-growing regions, there are always famous vineyards and those that hardly anyone knows about. The focus of critics and consumers is on the former - which makes it difficult for winegrowers whose winery is located in a somewhat out-of-the-way place like Windesheim in the Guldenbach Valley to be noticed at all. However, the Sinß family has managed to make their wines increasingly well-known thanks to their painstaking work in the vineyards and excellent flair in the cellar. Since 26-year-old Johannes came on board a few years ago, they have pooled their resources and invested heavily once again. The Rieslings are becoming ever more terroir-driven, fragrant and spicy. The Burgundy wines are particularly elegant, and this applies equally to the white, gray and red wines.
