Bright ruby red with dark reflections. The nose is somewhat restrained and rich, reminiscent of plum confit, cinnamon and spruce honey. Full-bodied on the palate, with rich, dark fruit and a texture, it draws powerfully into the earthy finish, but unfortunately dries out considerably.
