The red wine »Alte Reben« Klingenberg Spätburgunder, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Steintal has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 94+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Franconia in Germany.
Spicy aroma of sour cherry and delicate smoke, blackthorn is added, fine herbs, a hint of coffee bean, fresh and multi-layered. On the palate it shows with fine, grippy tannins, lively acidity provides tension, red fruits with cherry and red currant, delicate minerality, lots of tension, tightly woven, elegant style, high drinking flow, very good length.
