The white wine »Stern« Orange Sauvignon Blanc *** trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Stern has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Caraway, orange zest, floral notes, damp brick and some caramel on the nose. On the palate it shows with an early wood influence, but also with strong phenolic, dry tannins of medium graininess, ripe acidity, savoury, but not yet fully developed finish.
