The white wine »Pure Grapes« Silvaner trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Störrlein Krenig has been rated in 2018 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Piquant, spicy varietal aroma, dry brushwood, mussel chalky notes. Silky texture on the palate, vivid but with mellow phenolics, multi-layered, yet quite dry, lots of tactile minerality, well-integrated acidity, an exciting wine. It will age well.
