The white wine »vom Muschelkalk« Silvaner trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Störrlein Krenig has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Smoky aroma, lots of shell limestone. Balsamic notes and a little yellow fruit. On the palate, the wine has a lot of drive and substance for an estate wine, the acidity carries the wine to good length without being isolated. A prime example of Silvaner from Triassic limestone.
