The white wine Morillon Ried Grassnitzberg, vintage 2017 from the winery Familienweingut Tement has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Southern Styria in Austria.
Light golden yellow with silver reflections. On the nose there is a discreet herbal savouriness, a hint of grapefruit zest and delicately floral apple fruit. The palate is spicy, with white tropical fruit, well-integrated acidity, minerality and fine pronounced fruit on the finish. It is still a little shy and reserved and will benefit from bottle ageing.
