The red wine Alte Lagen, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Temer has been rated in 2025 by Peter Moser with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties St. Laurent, Zweigelt from the region Burgenland in Austria.
Deep crimson in colour with purple reflections and a light ochre rim. On the nose, some tobacco notes, subtle hints of plum, and a touch of orange peel. The medium-bodied palate is fresh and mineral with well-integrated tannins and fine fruit expression, redolent of cherry. Already easy to drink.
