Dark, very dense ruby red colour with a brightening rim. The nose opens slightly vegetal, later cooked elderberry, some green pepper and black cherry. On the palate, wide-opening with clear tannins, invigorating and with good flavour. Medium to full-bodied, persistent through to the finish.
