The white wine »Edition Rosenduft« Gewürztraminer trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Theo Minges has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gewürztraminer from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
The nose of the "Fragrant Rose Edition" is just that: ripe, summery, without any sharpness. On the palate, the Gewürztraminer has a sweet-like extract despite being completely dry, with notes of rose, yellow peach and orange confit.
More about the tastingA complex and highly polished varietal aroma: blood orange, liquorice, rose blossom and clove oil. The palate is rather medium-bodied, with a fine phenolic character, crisp but well-supported acidity and a silky smoothness on the finish that hints at the warm year.
