On the nose, the wine shows fresh red berry fruit, fresh cranberries, some wood and fresh butter, chalky-spicy-peppery tones. The palate is smoothly grounded, a fleshy, powerful tannin of good phenolics hint at the future. This is a dense, full-bodied and well-balanced Pinot Noir with an intense limestone-mineral character.
