The white wine Forst Kirchenstück, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut von Winning has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 99 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling
Barrel sample. With aromas of grapefruit and lime, a cool hint flows from the glass, which is soon complemented by intensely smoky mineral savouriness. In the mouth, the texture is characterised by fine mineral extract, which is smoothly embedded and underpinned by elegant acidity. A wine of great smoothness, confident flow and exceptional length.
