Dark ruby with purple reflections and delicate edge brightening. Aromas of fine tobacco savouriness, some blackcurrant, a hint of cassis and dark minerality, underlaid with a touch of herbs. Taut, fine acidity, mineral, also very dark fruity nuances on the palate. Dense and tightly meshed, with a well-integrated tannin structure. Persistent and will benefit from bottle ageing.
