The red wine »Alte Reben« Pfaffenhofen Trollinger trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Wachtstetter has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Smoky cherry scents followed by juniper berry, almond kernel and garden herbs like rosemary and thyme. Powerfully built and with good volume, certainly not a fragile-like Trollinger, but self-confident. Medium extract with a fine vein of acidity. Well done.
