The red wine »Cuvée Ernst Combé Reserve« trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Wachtstetter has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Lemberger, Merlot, Cabernet Franc from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Spicy and full-bodied aroma. Aromas of black cherry, blackberry, cassis and allspice. Very present and with good dynamics on the palate, good acidity balancing the grippy, fine tannins and the vivid fruit. Stylish cuvée with a lot of ageing potential.
