The white wine »Reserve« Sylvaner trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Wagner-Stempel has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
A multi-layered Silvaner with slightly savoury-mineral tones, a hint of roasted sesame, herbal notes, cress and purslane as well as closed yellow fruit like Mirabelle plum. On the palate, the wine is similarly broad, dense, with very fine phenolics and firm acidity, with a long, savoury finish.
