The red wine Pinot Noir Reserve, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Weedenborn has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Very closed fragrance. Almond. Hardly opens up even with intensive aeration. Linear structure on the palate: ripe tannins of medium grain size and a suitable (rather carefully extracted) quantity, hints of cherry fruit, definitely indicates a perspective for development, the finish is dominated by supple layers and a hint of minerality.
