The orange wine DES Wahnsinns Fette Beute, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Weinreich has been rated in 2026 by Romana Echensperger, Valentine Mühlberger with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Golden yellow with copper-colored reflections. Aromas of orange juice, Nashi pear, early apple and a hint of menthol. Gripping acidity on the palate, polished, fine silky tannins and yellow fruit, graphite and a fine nutty-buttery note. Good length. Exciting Chardonnay, whose grip comes from the tannin structure and not from the use of wood. Very good food companion.
