Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, faint brightening on the rim. Fine noble wood savouriness, delicate liquorice and vanilla, dark berry fruit, black cherry and hits of rosemary and thyme. Juicy, complex and tightly meshed palate, fine fruit sweetness, ripe, well-integrated tannins, elegant and long with nougat and pepper on the finish. Very good ageing potential.
