Ripe citrus fruit and apple on the nose, grapefruit, apricot, preserved lemon. Intense spice on the palate complements the ripe fruit notes. Tightly built, good substance, phenolic and also slightly peppery, ripe acidity. A French variety that does well in the Pfalz.
