The sekt »LochRiesling«, vintage 2018 from the winery Weinhof Herrenberg GbR has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Ripe fruit on the nose, typical varietal aromas of peach and apricot, some honeycomb, lemon balm and fresh thyme. Beautifully textured and juicy on the palate, rather restrained mousse, vivid, slightly steely acidity, well balanced by the fine sweetness. Ripe fruit again, some ginger, apple peel. Very well balanced.
