The red wine »Cellarius Benedictus« Cuvée trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weinkonvent Dürrenzimmern has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Lemberger, Portugieser, Cabernet Dorsa, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Dornfelder from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Buttery on the nose with an unfolded stone fruit and notes of blackcurrant and menthol. The palate is juicy, with quite fine but also dense tannins, a ripe palate fruit and a harmonious finish of very good length.
More about the tastingDeep dark appearance in the glass, almost black. On the nose: intense notes of berries with well-integrated wood notes. On the palate, lots of sour cherry, which juicily complements this wine marked by its volume. Long on the finish.
