Tasting Notes
Around 80 percent Cabernet Sauvignon is joined here by parts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and even a little Malbec from time to time, this blend always makes the Oakville-Vab appear somewhat more complex. Strong ruby garnet, delicate rim brightening. Watery rim, dark fruit on the nose, cassis, fully ripe plums, but still restrained overall, juicy and sweet on the palate, very complex, soft tannins, velvety, the barrique notes are well integrated, good length, some ageing potential.
