Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, deep core, purple reflections, delicate bright ochre rim. Fine oak nuances, delicate hints of nougat and black berry, subtle notes of dried plum, with candied violet and cassis in the background. Juicy, fresh cherry, ripe supporting tannins, chocolaty on the finish, and it is persistent. It is a powerful food wine with certain ageing potential.
