The white wine »Edition« Chardonnay Spätlese trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Winzergenossenschaft Kallstadt eG has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 88 - 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
There is a candied pineapple aroma on the nose, as well as a very ripe grape character. On the palate it is soft and supple, with a lovely texture, along with a ripe and very mildly integrated acidity. It is a varietal type without oak that is entirely focused on charm.
