The red wine »Adonis« Cuvée trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Winzergenossenschaft Kallstadt eG has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Cubin, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Dorsa, Dunkelfelder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
An impenetrable dark ruby in colour. Bitter chocolate on the nose, along with thyme, wormwood and blackberry. The mouth reveals fleshy tannins that are powerful in quantity and ripe in quality, accompanied by chalky minerality. A sturdy red, for three to five years of ageing before enjoyment.
