The shy nose only reveals a hint of distant wood smoke. Much swirling then allows glimpses of raspberry and tender forest fruit. The palate has that same approach: the tender fruit comes on tip-toe at first but then fills the mouth with its subtle aromas of woodland, red and tart fruit. Fine freshness highlights the perfumed and almost poetic nuances. Lovely
