The red wine Zweigelt Reserve, vintage 2003 from the winery Zantho Weingut has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
It has a deep crimson colour, with purple reflections, and a broad ochre rim. There are hints of vanilla and nougat aromas, as well as ripe plum, sweet cherry, and floral nuances, it is an inviting bouquet. It is juicy, elegant and fresh, with a hint of chocolate, and ripe tannins, and it is perfectly balanced and long. It has minerality, still some youthfulness, and is simply stunning.
