The red wine Sergio Zenato Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Zenato has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Oseleta, Croatina from the region Veneto in Italy.
Dark, rich ruby red colour. Explicit aromas of café au lait and chocolate powder on the nose, rich earthy tones, some marzipan, dried rose petal, mint, cranberries and black cherries after a little time in the glass. On the palate a certain juiciness, earthy tones, then shows some rough and drying tannin in the finish, still wants to age.
