Dark ruby with a garnet-red rim. Hearty and intense on the nose, of dark plum, raisins, cedar wood and a hint of aniseed. Rich and imposing on the palate, with lots of preserved fruit, a touch of vanilla, tightly woven tannins and a long finish.
