The red wine Doppiozeta Rosso Sicilia DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Zisola has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nero d’Avola from the region Sicily in Italy.
It has a bright luminous ruby colour. On the nose it opens with cool herbal notes, of geranium, sage and white pepper, then a plum aroma. It is very juicy on the palate, with polished tannins, and is fresh and vivid, with lots of cherry fruit.
