Antonio Navajas keltert hier mit Sohn und Tochter in vierter Generation seine Weine. Seit Mitte der 1970er Jahre baut es seine Weine selber auch und vermarktet sie. Die karge und schöne Landschaft von Navarrete (Rioja Alta) des oberen Ebros schenken den Trauben Raffinesse. Rubinrot, ausgewogen und komplex, Aromen von reifen roten Früchten sowie Lakritze, Zimt und Pfeffer. Er ist rund und seidig aber gleichzeitig kräftig.

Intense nose with notes of dried plum, sour cherry and cranberry. Hints of coconut, cocoa and crème brûlée. Dense and creamy on the palate, with fresh acidity and flavours of wild berries, cherry, balsamic and smoky hints. Ripe, fine-grained tannins, long finish.
