Der Ursprung der Hacienda El Ternero geht auf das Jahr 1077 zurück, als sie zum Kloster Santa María de Herrera gehörte. Im Herzen der Hacienda befinden sich Gebäude aus dem 17., 18. und 19. Jahrhundert, welche in der Vergangenheit als Kloster, Kaserne, Schule und Krankenhaus für Pilger auf dem Jakobsweg dienten. In der Mitte befindet sich die Kapelle der Hacienda El Ternero, die auch heute noch geöffnet ist und über welche die Schutzpatronin, die Virgen de la Pera, wacht. Noten von dunklen Beeren (Brombeere, Cassis) und würzige Holzaromatik. Frisch, fruchtbetont und rund im Mund. Sehr elegant. Lagerfähiger Rotwein aus einer limitierten Auflage.

Elegant bouquet with notes of cranberry, pomegranate, dried plum and dried red and dark wild berries. In addition, hints of dark bread, cocoa and cinnamon. Smooth on the palate, with juicy acidity and red fruit. Subtle toasty notes, fine-grained, easily noticeable tannin and long finish.
