Falstaff Wineguide Germany 2021

Falstaff Wineguide Germany 2021

Kay Thiel reports that his Weingut “grew from tiny to small”: Indeed, this winemaker in Königswinter doubled his by now organically certified vineyards to almost two hectares. His steep sites of various soil types like clay, greywacke and slate are dispersed across 35km along the river Rhine in the villages of Niederdollendorf, Dattenberg and Leutesdorf. After his successful debut in the guide last year, his wines have gained even more in stylistic confidence and individual expression. What Thiel delivers really is an asset to the Mittelrhein wine scene!
