Since 1860, the Potzinger family has been vintners in southern Styria and thus in possession of one of the longest family-owned wineries in Styria. The big trump card is that the vineyards are spread throughout southern Styria in some of the most famous and best vineyards in this region. These include Ried Sulz, Ried Kaltenegg, Ried Oberburgstall and Ried Kainberg. This variety of great terroir, experience in winemaking for more than 160 years, the near-natural cultivation, very careful vinification, and a well-coordinated team are the building blocks that explain the run of success the family has enjoyed over the past few decades. Heidi and Stefan Potzinger's wines are famous as excellent food wines and stand out for their legendary ageing potential.
