The Falstaff Hotel Guide brings together the best hotels in Switzerland, revealing which establishments excel across the board with outstanding wellness, excellent cuisine and exceptional ambience and service.
The Falstaff HOTELGUIDE is published for the fifth time - with more than 1,300 rated hotels in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Northern Italy. In addition, awards were presented in twelve categories in all four regions. Around 150 hotels were assessed in Switzerland.
"Holidays in the DACH region are right on trend! Our home region inspires with its unique location between the Alps, lakes and vineyards - a diversity that leaves little to be desired: dramatic landscapes, culinary excellence, cultural richness and a hotel industry that is cosmopolitan, creative and at the same time deeply rooted in its origins," says Falstaff editor Prof. Wolfgang M. Rosam. "Year after year, this hotel landscape becomes more diverse and innovative. With our guide, we want to give it the stage - and show it the appreciation it deserves."
The hotels were rated with a maximum of 100 points according to the criteria of ambience, rooms, wellness, service, cuisine and location. Helpful information on hotel facilities, such as e-charging stations or shuttle services, was also provided.
The ranking is based on points.
