The white wine »Alte Reben« Gerlachsheim Herrenberg Silvaner trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Becksteiner Winzer has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Baden in Germany.
Herbal, savoury and slightly floral on the nose, with air contact the wine also has an aroma of Darjeeling tea. The palate shows some depth, the old vines prove their substance, mineral notes and lively acidity harmonise with substance.
