The crémant Bouvet »Chenin Zero« Saumur, vintage 2019 from the winery Bouvet Ladubay has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser, Gerhild Burkhard, Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach, Ulrich Sautter, Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler, Irene Forni with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chenin Blanc from the region Loire Valley in France.
Bright golden yellow with green reflections, a bouquet of ripe yellow apple, stewed quince, a touch of lemon confit and tobacco. Multi-layered and full of tension on the palate with juicy, pithy acidity and at the same time a mouth-filling, airy mousse that stretches straight across the tongue. Wet stone, black tea and striking oak notes define the long finish. An exciting food companion!
