The red wine Vignolo Barolo Riserva DOCG, vintage 2006 from the winery Cavallotto has been rated in 2012 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright, intense ruby colour with a garnet hue. Dense and compact nose, full of ripe cherries and plums, with an intense hazelnut and truffle flavour in the background. On the palate, lots of texture, rich, ripe fruit, opens with dense, vivid tannins, warm and profound, with a very long finish.
