The red wine Carruades de Lafite, vintage 2005 from the winery Château Lafite-Rothschild has been rated in 2006 with 88 - 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Pauillac in France.
Strong ruby garnet, broad violet rim, ripe fruit on the nose, inviting, a hint of dried fruit, nose characterized by Merlot spice. Soft and juicy on the palate, full-bodied plum fruit, soon drinkable.
