Il MAGO, hergestellt im Tessin, wird aus sorgfältig ausgewählten Merlot-Trauben vinifiziert. Alkoholische Gärung in Inox-Weintanks bei kontrollierter Temperatur und Ausbau in neuen Barriquefässer aus französischer Eiche mit 225 Litern Fassungsvermögen. Ein Wein von leuchtender rubinroter Farbe mit einem sehr fruchtigen Bouquet und Noten von Brombeeren, Vanille und edlen Gewürzen. Der Geschmack ist samtig warm und einhüllend. Eine Harmonie von intensiven und überwältigenden Aromen. Alkoholgehalt: 14% Vol. Serviertemperatur: 18°C. Haltbarkeit: 10/15 Jahre. Passt hervorragend zu Hauptgerichten mit gebratenem weißem und rotem Fleisch, gegrillt oder mit Wild. Wir sind soweit! Nach 5 langen Jahren schlagen wir, für Liebhaber und Nostalgiker, wieder den «il Mago Merlot Ticino DOC 2018» vor. Einer unserer Besten Weine, der seit 5 Jahren nicht mehr produziert wurde. Notes of three-fruit confit and sour cherry on the nose. Dried plum and spicy nuances. Medium-bodied and soft on the palate with fleshy dark fruit and sour cherry as well as slightly noticeable ripe tannins. Medium-long finish.
