Tasting Notes
Strong ruby, purple reflections, broad ochre rim. Subtle herbal savouriness, dark berries, fine noble wood savouriness, subtle orange zest, some nougat. Textured, complex, fine fruitiness, fine, matured tannins, chocolate touch on the finish, very well-developed, already accessible, a great food wine. (Drink/+20)
More about the tastingStrong ruby garnet, ochre rim. Almost oily in the glass, fine wild berry confit, delicate orange zest, fine herbal spice. Powerful, present tannins, still a little edgy, dark chocolate, enormously youthful, subtle mousse-like touch on the finish, great length, a very concentrated wine of which one would like to say: "It can hardly go for all its power."
