Powerful glittering copper colour. Initially there is a fragrance of ripe currant and rowan berry, with strong notes of incense and sloe and a touch of graphite in the background. Pleasant-tasting, with a decidedly fine-limbed mousse, it proceeds elegantly across the palate, with herbal-spicy notes and a hint of salinity on the persistent finish. A beautiful interpretation.
