The red wine Sperss Nebbiolo Langhe DOC, vintage 2007 from the winery Gaja has been rated in 2011 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Langhe in Italy.
Brilliant, rich ruby colour with a slight garnet hue. Fantastic and memorable nose, incredibly dense, aromas of hazelnuts, leather and ripe wild raspberries. Superb on the palate, with lots of compact, dense tannins, coated in sweet texture, multilayered and dense, persistent and complex, finishing with nuances of plums and liquorice.
