Bright, intense ruby, slightly dark colour. Opens with pronounced savoury notes of cloves and aniseed, then dark cherries. Compact, very dense tannins, seems a little rough at first, but also has a lot of flavour, has great certain ageing potential, expands powerfully at the back, develops a lot of rich drive, long finish and fine flavour.
