Liegt auf der orographisch rechten Seite der Etsch auf einem Felsvorsprung aus Porphyr . Der Boden besteht hauptsächlich aus Kalkmergel und Sandstein. Hier auf 500 m.ü.n.N. findet diese Sorte die idealen Voraussetzungen um sich bestens zu entfalten. Bei Erträgen um 5000 kg/ha liegt der Reifezeitpunkt um den 25. September. Es erfolgt eine 2 stündige Kaltmazeration welche diesen aromatischen Weißwein noch vielfältiger gestaltet. Gepresst, wird der Most bei 12°C über Nacht geklärt. Umgezogen in einen Stahltank wird alles für die Gärung vorbereitet, Reinzuchthefe und kontrollierte Temperatur nicht über 20°C. Struktur und Aromen Vielfalt werden durch die Fein-Hefe ergänzt. Ein letztes Mal bei abnehmenden Mond abgezogen verweilt der Wein nun bis zur Abfüllung im Stahltank.

Dark, intense golden yellow. Initially restrained, slightly smoky on the nose, followed by ripe yellow stone fruit. Subtly fruity and bitter on the palate, underpinned by animating acidity and well-integrated alcohol.
