The red wine Südtirol Sanct Valentin Blauburgunder DOC, vintage 2011 from the winery Kellerei St. Michael-Eppan has been rated in 2014 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Sparkling ruby with a slight garnet shimmer. Opens with slightly smoky notes, then lots of cloves and finally blackberries. Lots of firmly structured tannins on the palate, with a supple core, builds for a long time, shows very beautiful fruit notes in the back, long finish.
