The red wine Südtirol Sanct Valentin Blauburgunder DOC, vintage 2012 from the winery Kellerei St. Michael-Eppan has been rated in 2015 by Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Brilliant, intense ruby with a slight garnet sheen. Opens with rich spicy notes of sweet aniseed, then lots of wild raspberry and blackberry, inviting and dense. Round and supple on the palate with a ripe raspberry fruit, supple, well-integrated tannins, clear and straightforward, lingers for a long time.
