The red wine Frankovka, vintage 2015 from the winery MAGULA Family Estate has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blaufränkisch from the region Small Carpathians in Slovakia.
Medium crimson, with ochre reflections, and a broad bright rim. Lovely fruity bouquet, subtle hints of liquorice and black wild berry, delicate hints of fresh fig, discreet herbal savouriness, and candied violet underneath. Juicy, silky texture, discreet sweet fruit, ripe well-integrated tannins, with a red berry touch on the finish, it is elegant and versatile.
