Rich ruby in colour with a black core. A multi-layered and incredibly dense nose showing notes of cinnamon and sandalwood, lots of tobacco, then blackberry and cassis. There's waves of firm and dense tannins on the palate, which builds up richly and very clearly defined. Plenty of savoury and spice components here, this is a wine with a lot going on.
